OUR NATURALIST
The appointment of Sue McIntosh as Naturalist and Environmental Coordinator is evidence of Cornerstone’s steadfast commitment to keeping environmental concerns and a focus on restorative transformation at the forefront of its development plans. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Sue enjoyed a varied career in both the private and public sectors – all with an overriding focus on environmental, conservation and preservation issues. After earning a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Denver, Sue practiced natural resource law in Washington, DC before becoming General Counsel and Conservation Director for the Sierra Club in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2003, she opened her own private legal and natural resource consulting practice with an emphasis land use, preservation, conservation and the environment – with Cornerstone being one of her primary clients.
A passionate naturalist, Sue said, “I am proud to be coordinating the cutting edge land stewardship that implements Cornerstone’s exciting environmental vision. Over the years, this land has given generously to the people that have ranched, hunted and lived here.”
