Abundant sunshine and Champagne Powder invite the whole range of winter activities throughout all of Western Colorado. At Cornerstone, a trail system designed by former Olympian Pat Ahern will welcome cross-country skiers, and snowshoers can explore thousands of acres of untracked powder. All three of these remarkable resorts enjoy locations that are off the beaten path and offer destination skiers many days with little or no waiting in lift lines. And for the expert skier, the steep “out of bounds” terrain of Silverton Mountain is only a short drive away.
